Stardust

Stardust is a young sugar glider who came in with her bonded sister Comet. They sleep curled together in a fleece pouch all day and glide between perches all night.

Sugar gliders must be adopted in pairs or larger colonies; a solitary glider self-mutilates from loneliness. They are illegal in some jurisdictions, require a flight-capable enclosure (4'x2'x6' minimum for two), and need a specialist diet (HPW or BML) — kibble alone will kill them slowly.
