Acorn

Acorn is a slightly grumpy young hedgehog who softens after a few minutes in your lap with a fleece blanket. He's nocturnal, runs his wheel like he's training for something, and has strong opinions about mealworm count.

Hedgehogs are illegal in some U.S. states and cities — please verify your local rules before applying. They need an enclosure of at least 4 square feet, 72-80°F ambient temperature (they can attempt hibernation if too cool, which is dangerous), and a high-quality cat food base diet supplemented with insects.
